A PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT IN THE FOREST

Right up until a couple of hours before, we weren’t sure whether we’d be able to go ahead with Claire & Adam’s pre-wedding shoot. The weather in the week leading up to the shoot day was appalling (is it really summer?!) and it rained heavily on the day itself.

Having not seen Claire & Adam for several months, we arranged to meet for nice relaxing coffee before our shoot, then with a good weather window, off we all went to the forest!

We took a relaxed stroll around the woodland, stopping every now and then to grab a shot or several, but also chatting away and getting to know each other better and hear about plans for the big day.

We LOVE spending this time with our couples; there’s nothing like this one-on-one time to help our couples feel comfortable and at ease with us and our cameras, have some FUN with us, and take the time to get some amazing portraits.

Trees and shafts of evening sunlight are a truly beautiful combination and with the sun finally making an appearance and warming the air, all the moisture in the air caused some gorgeous beautiful hazy effects in the sunlight.

One thing we can certainly never plan for is the weather but it certainly turned out great for us on this occasion, providing some beautiful backdrops for Claire & Adam’s gorgeous photos.

By early evening we were blessed with clearing skies and even some sunshine!
